1. It keeps things local. This year we are celebrating all the Valley has to offer by collaborating with Tempe Festival of the Arts and Phoenix Festival of the Arts to kick off the season together! Mesa Arts Festival brings in local artists and vendors to give you the opportunity to buy unique, handcrafted gifts in various artistic mediums. Live entertainment showcases local and national talent to give you a true Arizona Christmas.
2. It’s perfect for the whole family. The Bookmans Family Activity Area will be set up all day for you to bring your kids and enjoy free activities! Your little ones can paint ceramic ornaments, make pine cone crafts, listen to stories and many other activities.
3. You can experience all of the great features of the MAC campus. Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum and the MAC Artists’ Cooperative Gallery:
The Store will be open. You can see ceramics, glass blowing, blacksmithing,
weaving, jewelry making, painting and printmaking demonstrations! Festival
goers will even be able to try out many of the classes we offer.
4. There is a wide range of
entertainment options.
Are you a big fan of 50s music? There is a cover band for that! There will also be acoustic country and classic rock bands performing. C’est la vie Quartet, an all-female voice ensemble, will perform Christmas carols as they roam through the crowd. There will also be juggling, a performance by the Metropolitan Youth Symphony and hijinks from Comedy Improv Troupe. OH! And don’t forget “Chrome,” a unique interactive experience created by performance artist Rachel Bowditch and her Vessel collaboration. You can’t be disappointed with the line up!

5. This is a wonderful way to ring in the holiday season. Get out of the house and experience a festive, free event that brings the
community out to celebrate together. There is something for everyone at
the Mesa Arts Festival and you can be sure that your family, friends and loved
ones will have a great time.
Don’t miss out on
this seasonal experience! The Mesa Arts Festival will be on December
13 and 14, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is a great opportunity
to come to the MAC campus if you have never been and the perfect reason to come
back if you’ve been before. We hope to see you there!
