A Twist on Oktoberfest: ARToberfest is a perfect pairing of beer and art!

When there are so many Oktoberfest’s and celebrations around the valley, it’s hard to discern one from another. ARToberfest shakes things up just enough to make it stand out as a not-to-miss event. Who doesn’t love beer, art and fun? Hosted by Mesa Arts Center in partnership with Crescent Crown Distributing, the event will be hosted by a Cicerone (beer expert) who will offer up a variety of beer for sampling as well as information on the traditions of Oktoberfest and Oktoberfest beers. There will an extensive menu of tasty appetizers – including pretzels, potato pancakes and bratwurst – that pair perfectly with the beers to enhance the tasting experience.

When: Friday October 10th
Doors Open @ 6:00PM | Festivities run 6:30-8:30PM
Where: Joanie Flatt Terrace @ MAC
Tickets: $60 ($50 for members) Get yours here!

The Joanie Flatt Terrace transforms into a German-inspired atmosphere with a traditional polka band and beer maidens from St. Pauli Girl beer. And if you’re feeling particularly festive, you can wear your best Oktoberfest gear to be entered to win a prize for best costume!
Bonus! This is a FUNraising event for the Mesa Arts Center Foundation. ALL proceeds will go towards the education programs offered by Mesa Arts Center, which served over 40,000 students in Valley schools just last year!

We’ll see you there, lederhosen and all! Cheers!
