On November
22, World-renowned cellist, Zuill Bailey will perform the Herculean task of
playing all of Bach’s Cello Suites in one evening, on his 300 year old cello.
Coming from a family of musicians, he started playing cello after running into
one backstage at the age of 4. He fell into it. ;) Bailey’s recording
of the Bach Cello Suites recording was No. 1 on the Classical Billboard Charts.
Bailey’s
concert at Mesa Arts Center is a rare treat for fans of Classical music, and
the only Classical engagement we have on our Performing Live calendar for the
remainder of 2013.
